Insurance Word To know

A Trust:  Is a right of property, real or personal, held by one person for the benefit of another.

Going Green

What we use…. Please recycle

Around 80 percent of what Americans throw away is recyclable, but we only actually recycle around 28 percent.

Americans use 2.5 million plastic bottles every hour.

A typical family consumes 182 gallons of soda, 29 gallons of juice, 104 gallons of milk, and 26 gallons of bottled water a year. That's a lot of containers that can all be recycled.

Good To Know:
MEDICARE INFORMATION

The new healthcare law signed by the President in mid-March expands access to health insurance and offers additional improvements to protect you, members of your family and the Medicare program.

Rest assured Medicare will be here for you. You don't have to make any changes to your plan. If you like what you have you can keep it. The new law improves Medicare. It will help close the coverage gap in prescription drug coverage by offering a one-time $250 rebate to people with Medicare who aren't already getting Extra Help paying their prescription drug costs.

If you qualify, Medicare will automatically send a check that's made out to you. You don't need to provide any personal information like your Medicare, Social Security, or bank account numbers to get the rebate check.

Don't give your personal information to anyone who calls you about the $250 rebate check.  Starting next year, the new law will also help lower the cost of preventive services.

Dumb Crook News

A man went into a drug store and announced his intentions to commit robbery. He pulled a Hefty Bag over his face to conceal his identity. He did not, however, cut eyeholes in the mask and was tackled by a brave customer."
